The new "Registration and Legislation" category ( offers street rodders and enthusiasts up-to-date information on how to go about legally registering their recently purchased and/or completed hot rod, street rod, or custom in all 50 states.

In addition to registration information, this new Web site area will provide the latest news, information, and legislation in a state-by-state database. The new "Registration and Legislation" navigation button can be found just below the "Event Coverage" button on the Street Rodder Web site ( and also on the homepage link, "50-State Registration and Legislation."

A Hot Rod Fit For A King
Much to everyone's delight, the street rodding hobby is enjoying huge growth these days, and we've got to believe it's do in large part to many in the industry who strive to provide quality products and expand their product lines. One such company is Total Performance in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Total has recently unveiled its latest entry into the affordable hot rod market with the introduction of the new King T Kit. The King T offers tons of new features along with the same level of quality customers have come to expect from Total Performance's 35-plus years as the nation's premier T-bucket retailer. The completely redesigned chassis uses Total's standard tube axle frontend and suspension, maintaining the same low stance as its T-bucket kits. The King T body is modeled after a 1926-27 but features a 1923-style front cowl area-providing a vehicle with the aggressive body taper of a '23, but with the added room and comfort of a '26-27.

The King T Kit features a fully jig-welded, precision-drilled frame with all bracketry pre-welded and pre-drilled, plus a master cylinder, brake pedal, pad, and pushrod. Deluxe fiberglass King T body packages include a molded dash, fiberglass floor and transmission tunnel, and a grille shell with insert and three-piece hood assembly, as well as complete front and rear suspension components.
