Okay, here we go... It's Friday at the L.A. County Fairplex, spectator gates have only been open for two hours and the place is packed.The car owners and builders are scrambling to get in some last-minute polishing in.
Word going around the show is that participants and spectators alike are extremely pleased that a show with this much history has made Southern California its new home. Thanks to the legendary Pomona Raceway, the Los Angeles County Fairplex is considered to be hallowed ground for hot rodders.
