It's Saturday morning and the place is packed. The doors opened at 10:00 sharp and the spectators are here in full-force.
Here are a few more highlights from the show.
 |
Charlie Lambetecchio owns this beautiful '36 roadster built by Larry Ruth |

Hal Bankhead made the trip from Murrietta, California to show off his awesome '32 Ford. |
Dennis Donahue used a very cool color combination on his self-built '32 Ford. |

There are also a few bikes on the floors adding to the variety of vehicles at the show. |
One of the coolest rides here is this original Checker Cab owned by 2001 AMBR award winner Richard Berg. Like the Impact car, SRRC is building this one as well. |
1:00 PM

It's called the Grand National Roadster Show, but we managed to find a few slick customs as well. |
We thought it was pretty cool that Muscle Machines brought out "Mini Muscle" as a compliment to their display. |

We'll bet this one handles nicely at 200mph on the drag strip. |
This is the original Martinez and Miller "Poison Ivy" AA/Fuel dragster. Bob Deburn took care of the restoration. By the looks of it, we would have to say he did an outstanding job. |

The spectators seem to appreciate the new location of Grand National Roadster Show. This is a great venue and looks like it's getting plenty of support. |
There's plenty of action outside as well. Lots of vender trailors offering up the coolest in t-shirts and rodding merchandise. |
4:00 PM

Dr.Mark VanBuskirk came all the way from Crown Point, Indiana with his beautiful 1932 Ford Highboy. |
Bob Bruhun calls his 1948 Packard the "Pack Rat." |

It must have something to do with this. |
Not too many T-buckets make it in the running for the AMBR award these days, but Larry Methvin from Upland, California is deep into this year's competition. |

Zero Engineering made the trip all the way from Okazaki, Japan. Being their retro-styled Harleys are so cool, we're glad they did. | |
