As usual Street Rodder magazine will be giving you the highlights of the 2004 NSRA Street Rod Nationals from Louisville, Kentucky on the written pages. Until then, we've put together a little teaser for our web visitors.
Hope you enjoy!
Look for the full event coverage in the December 2004 issue of Street Rodder.

Jeff Davis of Union City, TN brought out his lean, mean, metalflake green, '31 Ford sedan to the Nats. Nicknamed Little Stinker, this hot rod caught a few eyes during the weekend. |

Who said a tub couldn't be a race car? This blue sedan-turned-tub belonged to Larry Rathburn of Catawba, VA and had all the right '40's era goodies. From the nerf bar, the dirt track tires, the Flathead mill, and the quickchange, this was one of the most period perfect hot rods on the grounds. |

And speaking of period perfect, taking the '40's look to the street, Jon Hall of Saginaw, MI made the drive south in his beautiful blue '32. With a multi-carb Flatty, chopped top, and bias ply tires, Jon hit all the nails on the head with his 5-window. |

A closer look at the Motor City Flathead in Jon's coupe. Edelbrock heads, dual Strombergs, polished everything, this is how every hot rod should look under the hood. |

There were also quite a few cars in the seldom seen category. I can't remember when the last time I saw a 1937 Cadillac convertible, but I guarantee it wasn't as nice as Ruggold, Georgia residents, Ronnie and Janet Black's. Beautiful white pearl paint accented by red trim and interior with a Coca-Cola flair. |

Or how about a '36 Packard? Can't say I've ever scene one like Tim and Debby Green's. Immaculate 3-window coupe with wire wheels and wide white's set off the red paint scheme perfectly. Driven from Ingalls, Indiana, I'm sure the Green's have a blast in their truly rare '36. |
