July 8, '05 the Goodguys prepared to welcome over 6,000 cars to the Ohio Expo Center for the 8th PPG Nationals. The weather couldn't have been better, and neither could the wide array of vehicles that began streaming through the gates the minute they opened.
At 10:00 A.M. a poker run sponsored by Speedway Motors began, and at 5:00 the welcome mat was rolled out at the Marriot Hotel for all those who came to Columbus. In between those two activities there were plenty of cars to look at, vendors to visit, and a swap meet to peruse.
