Ladies First
Well, we don't know yet but for the first time in the history of the Ridler award at the Detroit Autorama a woman and her ride have made it to the Great 8. Tammy Ray of Dahlonega, Georgia was present and accounted for with her '33 SpeedStar coupe. Time will tell if she becomes the first women to win the coveted Ridler award.
The fully independent suspension features a well-detailed Winters quickie in back and wiggle front. Painted in brilliant red and powered by a potent big-block from the shelves of Street & Performance, bright work comes the chrome tanks at Advance Plating, steering is Vega-style from Flaming River, Billet Specialties accessories and wheels by Boyd Coddington.
The car was built at T&T Customs in Canton, Georgia while the matching Lear Jet red leather was put into place by M&M Interiors of Holly Pond, Alabama.
