It's Saturday and we have to point out that, although not quite as cool as yesterday, it's still fairly comfortable here in Columbus, but don't forget the sunscreen. There's a bit of cloud cover, but the sun gets a little intense at times.
The Goodguys really did a great job as this place is packed with spectators and participants alike. We've noticed a good percentage jump in the number of 60's cars this year as opposed to previous events. It seems Galaxies, Impalas, Buicks, and various kinds of station wagons are becoming more common at these events. With that being said, with the large amount of cars at this event there is something for everybody.
After spending the day at the Ohio Exposition Center it's a good idea to head on over to one of the local hotels, as there is still plenty of action. The participants take to the streets and fill the lots designated for hot rod parking only. The town of Columbus is buzzing as the welcome mat has been brought out for the Goodguys and all the festivities that go along throughout the weekend, even after hours from the event itself.
