For the third year running the staff of Street Rodder selected a car worthy of the Driven Award. The idea behind the award is to honor a car owner who has taken the time and effort to make his car show ready but also spends hours driving his car on the highways and byways enjoying what a hot rod was meant to do-be driven.
The Driven Award was presented by Lokar Performance Products at this year's 55th Detroit Autorama. Given this is the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford it was probably a good guess what car would be selected. Well, it isn't a forgone conclusion but we believe all of you would agree that Michigan based Fred Dudek is a worthy recipient for his 1932 Ford highboy roadster with 33,000 miles. He has had this car for some time and continually changes the appearance all the time continually polishing the immaculate black paint. Power comes from the one the iconic hot rod motors-the small-block Chevy with Tri-power all detailed in red paint and chrome.
