Pixar Studios opened up their garage doors and look what came out: Lightning McQueen number 95 the super slick 750 horsepower race car and Mater the loveable if slightly abused tow truck. Both vehicles were key characters from the movie Cars a feature length animation movie about the Piston Cup stock car racing series and the exploits of Lightning McQueen.
The journey to the top is neither fast nor without its bumps as Lightning found out but with the help and "involuntary" wisdom of ol' Mater the duo would get 'er done.
For the car guy in you Mater is based on a Chevy dualie pickup truck built at EP Industries in El Segundo, California and this team also built Lightning McQueen.
