Gene Gerber of Springfield, Illinois is on hand with his '37 Ford boat tail roadster. Aside from the wild looks the carbon fiber body from Spitzer Composites is worth noting. The white body with blue trimmed in red scallops are based on DuPont Hot Hues hues.
Other points of interest on this radical street rod are the Ford Focus 4-cylinder with a pair of Weber 40 side draft carbs attached to a TH350 automatic, Larry Sneed interior, Advanced Plating bright work, Classic Instruments gauges, Toyo rubber on Dayton wire wheels measuring 17x8 in front and 20x10 in back. The suspension is based on a 3.70 Winters quick-change in back (AFCO shocks) with independent setup and a 5-inch dropped axle hooked to a Schroeder sprint car steering box and Wilwood disc brakes at the corners.
