 | Rich Guasco of Pleasanton, Calif., was on hand with not one but two hot rods. His '29 on Deuce 'rails a former AMBR winner and his latest ride a lil' Deuce coupe but this time a five-window both painted in the never to be forgotten purple. | |
Robert Daniels of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., just across the street from the Del Mar racetrack and home to the event brought out his '27 Ford T-bucket loaded with a '57 DeSoto Hemi and a TH350 for the tranny. | | If you like muscle cars from the '60s the Del Mar event is loaded and here is a prime example with Monty Bernstein from San Gabriel, Calif., with his '63 Plymouth Savoy literally maxed out with a 426 inch Max Wedge. |
 | Jim Shelton down from the glitz of Las Vegas was on hand with one of his roadsters from his stable of cars. This Deuce roadster should be familiar to one and all hot rodders as it is the Gray Baskerville 1932 Ford full-fendered roadster complete with decades old primer spots. Jim covers a lot of ground in his various roadsters and you never know where and when he will show up. | Toby Stanford of Yucca Valley, Calif., is on hand with his '36 Chevy closed cab primered pickup that captures lots of looks with the tall stack injected 383 small-block Chevy. Just for fun he runs through the gears with a M20 (Muncie) four-speed. |
