The C.W. Moss leg of the PPG / STREET RODDER road Tour started on Monday morning after the L.A. roadsters' Father's Day Show. The response to this tour was fantastic-with 43 cars registered to participate- and everyone was anxious to head out on the highway. The route we took to the NSrA rocky Mountain Nationals in Pueblo, Colorado, wound through some of the most beautiful areas in the Southwest. C.W. Moss owner Derrick Looney and his staff were ready for the crowd and we got a great send-off from their classic showroom in the city ofOrange, California.
We headed east on i-10 on our route Monday morning, and then prepared for the 20-mile uphill run to the top of Chiriaco Summit once we made it through Palm Springs and indio, California. The Shadow rods Flathead V-8 in the road Tour coupe didn't miss a beat and we reached the top
