The awards may start a 5:00 p.m., you may think you know who the winner is, but time has no master-the winner will be announced when he (or she) is brought up to the stage and not a second sooner.
The 2009 Don Ridler Memorial Award winner is Doug Cooper's '32 Ford B-400 sedan that was built at the shop of Alan Johnson of Johnson's Hot Rod Shop in Gadsden, Alabama.
This years running of the Detroit Autorama was once again a successful venture. Plenty of entrants, large spectator crowds, and pretty good weather all worked hand-in-hand to make for a great event. Once again the staff of Street Rodder was happy to be on hand to see first hand these incredible cars and the tremendous competition that is the run for the Ridler.
