The winner of this year's Most Elegant Rod award is John Costamagna from Lodi, CA. His candy red '37 sedan also took first in his class as well as an Outstanding Individual Display award, plus he pocketed an extra $2,000 for his efforts. Rod Custom And Motorcycle Show 1934 Ford Pickup
Clean with its satin copper finish, Scott Karvza's '34 Ford pickup won its class as well as the Outstanding Suede Rod award. We especially liked the Tommy the Greek-style pinstriping on the fenders and around the cab.

Rod Custom And Motorcycle Show Slick And Subtle

Rod Custom And Motorcycle Show 1965 Lincoln Interior
Robert Prowell, from Cypress, CA, really had them scratching their heads with the interior to his '65 Lincoln. At first glance, it's all aluminum in a bomber motif, but the door panels are actually wood and distressed to look like aluminum panels. Really ingenious.

Rod Custom And Motorcycle Show 1949 Oldsmobile Convertible
Some folks thought they might have seen a detailed Hemi in the front of Paul White's '49 Oldsmobile convertible, but it's really a 244-inch Aurora V-8. In from his Back Bay Customs shop in Portland, ME, Paul won his Radical Convertible class as well as an Outstanding Radical Hand-Built Custom award.
