Randy Savage brought out this patina'd '40 Willys pickup from Houston and had us all drooling. Of course we couldn't help wonder why it had this Hemi in the bed and not under the hood. Perhaps it was a package deal?  Jim Smith's roadster pickup...  Jim Smith's roadster pickup was the perfect truck to cruise the fairgrounds given the weather on Saturday.  Delorean doors and giant wheel/tire...  Delorean doors and giant wheel/tire combos? Don't ever say you've seen it all!  A pair of cool five-windows,...  A pair of cool five-windows, by way of Abraham's '32 and Chris Niederkrom's '33.  Among the numerous vendors...  Among the numerous vendors inside the hall was Rob's Chop Shop, where our copilot got his ear's lowered.  Texas seems like a graveyard...  Texas seems like a graveyard for old hot rods and customs like Steve W's Model A and John Joyo's '36.  Even the swap meet was full...  Even the swap meet was full of old steel.  Traveling through the desert...  Traveling through the desert got a bit hot, with the temp gauge reaching over 200-degrees but with the sun setting in the distance, we were already discussing our next road trip!  Squeak Bell made the haul...  Squeak Bell made the haul all the way from Bakersfield, California, in his `50s-style '40 coupe.  Who says a `70s van isn't...  Who says a `70s van isn't traditional?! Dice had their paneled van on display and it was quite a hit. A new fad on the rise???  Sunday morning came bright...  Sunday morning came bright and early as those who wished gathered at Jo's Coffee Shop on Congress to head out for the Sunday cruise.  Monday morning found us on...  Monday morning found us on the road once again, this time heading West back to California.  ...but with the sun setting...  ...but with the sun setting in the distance, we were already discussing our next road trip!
