A recent addition to the Nats is the Builder's Showcase. (When was Builder's Showcase introduced?) With nearly 20 of the country's finest builders bringing examples of their efforts, rodders are treated to viewing just how far the bar can be raised. Oftentimes it is said the best part of looking at these cars are the individual ideas each of us can take from the builds.
Should you find yourself into truly wishing to build your own street rod, then the seminars are just what you need. These seminars provide the latest in information and knowhow provided by industry experts that began on Thursday and ran through Saturday. There were seminars on suspensions, air conditioning, driveline, shocks, steering, and insulation.
There are numerous other happenings at the Nats, something we have all come to expect, but the real beauty behind the Nats is that each of us can tailor the event to best suit our wishes and desires. After five decades of providing "Fun with Cars" for the entire family, the Nats just keeps getting better. See you there next year when a new era begins. Be part of the fun and join in.
