Ron Mc Jury's hot '31 Chevy pickup was at the Old Skool Roundup on Friday. Neat accents include a '31 Chrysler grille and headlights, Edelbrock cross-ram-fed small-block Chevy, and a pale yellow suede paint.

Here's Jack Elderkin's '55 Chevy with its House of Kolor Apple Green pearl body, flaked roof, and silver scallops accented by an ivory interior, louvered hood, tube grille, and chrome reverse wheels.

Mike Poh's '53 Chevy has loads of appeal: A custom grille, split front bumper, frenched headlights, and curved hood edges accent its polished orange suede body.

Jack Verspagen's '48 Olds 98 custom was as smooth as they come. Dropped right and shaved clean, it's covered with Sikkens Sage Green and Beige metallic and treated to uniquely painted side trim.

Wow, Don and Peg Carter's '35 Dodge coupe features endless creativity and custom fabrication. Chopped 2 inches, channeled 5 inches, and sectioned 2 inches, it also features a custom hood, IFS, and 354ci Chrysler Hemi for power.

John and Brian Abrahams' '34 Ford coupe sports a 3-inch chop with 327 Chevy power, rolling on American Racing Salt Flat wheels.

An effervescent silver coating combined with a perfect chop and channel, gave Gary Buehler's Deuce plenty of unique vibe.

We caught Mr. J (who painted many of the original JJ funny cars) putting the finishing touches on a custom-bodied go-kart reminiscent of one of "Jungle Jim" Liberman's funny cars. This beauty raised $4,000 for charity.

Everyone wished they'd won the '09 Syracuse Nationals giveaway car, but it was Bob Good who had Lady Luck on his side.
