The Haas Racing '34 Ford roadster entry was originally entered in the G/Blown Gas Roadster class driven by Tom Haas but after shattering the record by over 20 mph to 154.559 mph, the crew made a few changes to run the roadster in the Modified class. Their top speed in that class for the week was 183.255 in the quarter-mile on the long course; close but no cigar to the current 186.220 record. View Related Article
