Driven by Gary Weldon, the Watson & Weldon entry out of Millgrove, Ontario, Canada, in the B/Gas Roadster class ran a 438ci Buick V-8 but suffered from a spin on Sunday, something that seemed to be fairly commonplace among the roadster drivers by midweek. After a few turnouts, they turned 123.377 mph on Tuesday but unknown gremlins kept them from eclipsing the 232.346-mph record for their class. View Related Article
