Hot Rod Car Auctions Farina Built Coupe
|
Not exactly a hot rod, but built by Italmeccanica, who manufactured an early version of the S.Co.T. blower in Torino (Turin) Italy, this Flathead V-8-powered, Farina-built coupe, from the collection of Clyde Ensor, Sr., had a Ford Flathead V-8, an aluminum body that resembled an early Ferrari and a three-speed tranny. Estimated at $60,000-$100,000, featured in Speed Age in December, 1952, it brought a heady $143,000. View Related Article
