It is pretty hard to argue with winter weather in Florida, so when the chance to go down to Sanford, Florida for a few days came up we jumped at the chance. The main reason for the journey was to follow along as Real Deal Steel bodies assembled one of their new steel '57 bodies and to see it resting on the new gasser chassis by Woody's Hot Rodz. The two companies have teamed up to provide hot rodders with everything you need to build a Tri-five Chevrolet, you can see all the details of this build in the September issue of Street Rodder.

After watching brand new '57 Chevy bodies being built for a few days we stayed around for the Real Deal Steel open house on Sunday. Once again the weather was fantastic and a few hundred cars rolled in, surrounding the shop. Cool handmade trophies were fabricated of real steel and a DJ provided tunes while all the attendees were able to go inside and get up close to both finished bodies and the assembly process. It was a fun and informative day for everyone, here's some of our favorite cars that made it to the show.
