A 383 Chevy is under the louvered four-piece hood, and a Winters quick-change is out back. PPG paint covers the Brookville body, and PS Engineering wheels are on each corner.  Wade Keith, Friendswood, TX...  Wade Keith, Friendswood, TX / 1932 Ford sedan Starting with an original steel body, Wade Keith had LimeWorks Speed Shop chop the top a little over 3 inches to get the right look. A ’40 Ford dash was used, and a leather interior from Kiwi Kustoms was installed. Up front a BDS 6:71 blower rests above a 392 Hemi, which is fed by a Hilborn four-port manual fuel-injection system.  Kenny Davis, Rogers, AR /...  Kenny Davis, Rogers, AR / 1955 Chevy Nomad Owner built, this Nomad is owned by Kenny Davis, who also runs his own hot rod shop in Rogers, AR. A Roadster Shop chassis was used, as were 18- and 20-inch wheels. Painted a House of Kolor Kosmos Red, the wagon gets its go from a 502 Chevy V-8. A tan leather interior was also custom-made for the car.  Jerry O’Connor, Shawnee, OK...  Jerry O’Connor, Shawnee, OK / 1955 Chevy Bel Air Jerry O’Connor has owned his ride for more than 13 years, but it recently was gone through and updated. A Corvette ZO6 (LS6) motor and 4L60 trans were installed, as was a RideTech airbag suspension system. Complementing the Guards Red exterior is a tan leather custom interior.  As with many of the Goodguys...  As with many of the Goodguys shows that are held inside racing facilities, you can go for a high-speed ride around the banked oval in a NASCAR trainer car. The Texas Motor Speedway, site of the Goodguys First Spring Lonestar Nationals, also hosts NASCAR Cup, Nationwide, and Truck Series events.  Over in the Homebuilt Heaven...  Over in the Homebuilt Heaven parking area, we spotted Jay Riggs’ Model A sedan from Keller, TX. In the three years it took to build it, Riggs did nearly all the work himself on his ride.  Chuck Harris rolled into the...  Chuck Harris rolled into the speedway in his ’49 Plymouth wagon, which is equipped with a 3.9L V-6 Dodge motor. He also had it up for sale for $15,000 obo, which didn’t seem like too much money for a driver.  We’ve seen Dwight Nix’s ’36...  We’ve seen Dwight Nix’s ’36 Ford from Wheatland, OK, before, but we still like looking at it. The roadster also features a ’40 Ford dash.  Seen a lot of tall T coupes...  Seen a lot of tall T coupes lately? Neither have we, but Richard Maddox’s ’25 Ford from Colleyville, TX, was pretty sharp.
