1952 Ford Customline
A present to celebrate Mary and Gary Knox’s 50th wedding anniversary, this ’52 four-door has been gone through from top to bottom. For suspension Gary used a Fatman IFS with ShockWave airbags up front while out back a Ford 9-inch went in with stock springs. Intro 17-inch wheels, wrapped in Toyo rubber, are on each corner and a ’93 Ford 351 motor out of a Lightning pickup truck and backed to an AOD trans delivers the go when needed. Inside an ididit column was installed, as were aircraft-quality leather seats, an Ultrasuede headliner, and door panels from Rick Fisher Upholstery. Dakota Digital gauges, a mini backup camera, and a Hot Hues Resolution Yellow paintjob by Gwynn Bilson finished up the car.
