This year the swap meet was moved into the air-conditioned buildings, much to the delight of sellers and buyers. The “cars for sale” area was still outside, but in either place there were deals to be had. A pretty decent ’39 Ford truck grille was priced at $365 and a trio of re-buildable 97s bolted to a Fenton Y-block manifold was offered at $595 while old Rodder’s Journal magazines were $15 each, or two for $25.
