The Tempest’s engine—half of a 389—made the car unique. Rather than add four more cylinders Kennewick’s Dale Kintzley added a Procharger. Gone is the odd broom-handle-driven transaxle; in its place a 700-R4. He clipped the roof and leaned back the windshield for dramatic effect. View Related Article
