Scott Christiansen of Salt Lake City, Utah finished restoring this ’64 Ford Country Sedan Wagon in 2003; almost 40 years after his mom and dad (Marie and Jack) bought it new at Wilson Ford in Logan, Utah. The wagon still sports its original three-on-the-tree shifter and 289 V8. When the wagon was new, Scott was just five months old. Scott’s mom Marie was at the CVCA show this year and we had the chance to speak with her. From ’64 through the ‘70’s the wagon was the family’s daily car and used often to go on vacations throughout the western states. By the ‘80’s it was Scott’s college car. That Camp-Away Teardrop trailer to the left was pulled behind the Ford wagon back in the day. Today it’s been meticulously restored by Scott’s son, Tate. This is truly an all-in-the-family effort!
