The engine in Bob's ride was machined and built by Dave Boatwright (Springfield, MO). An LS6 454, the big-block was fitted with Keith Black 11.2:1 pistons, a Melling oil pump, a camshaft from Comp Cams, and a set of ported and polished heads. The heads are equipped with Manley valves (with titanium retainers) and the exhaust runs through Sanderson headers. Gears are selected with a Richmond six-speed unit.

It's the attention to details that make or break most cars, and Bob's car is overflowing with stylish details. Greening Auto Company created those details, such as the side mirrors and the taillight-in-the-nerf-bar treatment. The grille is from Jim Rench at Hot Rod Stuff (Jerseyville, IL).
