The engine in Bob's ride was machined and built by Dave Boatwright (Springfield, MO). An LS6 454, the big-block was fitted with Keith Black 11.2:1 pistons, a Melling oil pump, a camshaft from Comp Cams, and a set of ported and polished heads. The heads are equipped with Manley valves (with titanium retainers) and the exhaust runs through Sanderson headers. Gears are selected with a Richmond six-speed unit. View Related Article
