Dan Fink of Dan Fink Metalworks (Huntington Beach, CA) is well known for his remarkable metalwork. Whether it's sheetmetal or a beautiful stainless grille insert Dan has the touch. Having made just about anything you can image out of metal he's a craftsman whose work has graced numerous magazine covers--over 58 at last count!
His work has appeared on many high profile show cars starting way back in '81 with the Vern Luce 1933 Ford coupe which won honors at that years Grand National Roadster Show. Most recently his custom grille efforts were featured on the Wes Rydell's 1935 Chevy Grand Master designed/built by Chip Foose that won the Ridler award at the 2002 Detroit AutoRama.
Stay tuned to Street Rodder 'cause we are sure there will be more from the master. Right now it looks like he's taking time from his busy schedule to enjoy the moment and his award from this years GNRS. Job well done. B.B.
