It's hard to beat the experience of Pete Chapouris when it comes to traditional hot rod styling. This one's been re-outfitted with the proper stance, the appropriate handles and louvers, along with a period-perfect wheel and tire package to dress for success. The rear wheel/tire combo is based on a Wheel Smith 15x8 steelies with '46 Ford caps and trim rings while the rubber comes from Silverstone 235/75R15 radial rubber.

Aside from the OEM power package, accessories include Vintage Air, Walker Radiator, and Street & Performance alternator.

Reichenberg deep-sixed the car's previous Subaru bucket seats in favor of a more period-styled black and white leather interior trim. The long Lokar shifter, window cranks, door handles, and spoon throttle pedal also lend their flavor to this '50s-era hot rod.

The original steel dash was extended in order to accommodate SO-CAL's own Auburn-style insert, which is filled with Mooneyes gauges. Gloss black makes this dash panel scream, "I'm a hot rod!"
