Born To Run -- Street Rodder
Squeak Bell's Kiwi Konnection of Bakersfield, CA, started with '32 'rails from American Stamping, pinched them to fit a Model A body, then stepped the rear crossmember to clear the Winters quick-change rearend. Other special modifications include a C-notch to allow rear suspension travel. Check out Doug Holberg of DAH Works in Redondo Beach, CA's super clean job of tucking the exhaust system along the frame. Reminiscent of Indy cars until 1950, a Dayton #10 Sprint knock-off wire wheel is used on all four corners. David uses these tires for show and replaces them with ... what kind of tires for street use we can't tell you because they buffed the lettering off. View Related Article
