Sticky Task No MoreOn the market with three different compounds, ScrapeRite plastic razor blades are proving they can handle really stubborn chores. Perhaps one of the toughest adhesives to remove is old, dried-up duct tape. You can pick up ScrapeRite's 0range, general-purpose blades and slide right through that gummy mess and leave behind a clean, unscratched surface.
ScrapeRite blades are unlike any other plastic scraping tools because they have been engineered to emulate the properties of metal razor blades, but do so without accidentally cutting, scratching, or marring the surface as so often happens with sharp metal. The wedge-shaped blade tips act like a delicate chisel to break the bonds between adhesives and surfaces.
These blades won't rust, and because they are plastic, you will have no accidental or damaging reaction when working on electronics; the blades are non-conductive and non-magnetic.
You can now choose between the general-purpose Orange blades (which work on any surface) or select one of the following special compounds:
Polycarbonate: The properties of ScrapeRite's Blue blades have flexibility coupled with toughness. These blades provide suppleness and spring so while following the contours of automotive surfaces automotive surfaces (steel, aluminum, etc.).
Acrylic: ScrapeRite's Yellow blades are extra rigid, which makes them perfect when you want the blade edge to remain flat while re-moving debris from flat surfaces. The blade remains stiff so you can count on uniform results side-to-side but without accidental gouging or surface nicks. (The company has used these blades to scrape barnacles off boat hulls, so you know they are tough.)
