1932 Ford Highboy Bed
Jeb Scolman helped with most of the fabrication, did the bodywork, and handcrafted the pickup bed. If we didn't know better, we'd say he was showing off, but the kid is just too talented for words. Stock lighting is used in the rear, and apple green original Ford 16-inch wheels are found at all four corners.

On the ends of a Magnum 5-inch dropped tube axle are '46 Ford spindles with F-100 drum brakes. Shocks are Pete & Jake's, spring is a '36 Ford, and those headlights are '34 commercial. While chrome was used sparingly, what's plated was beautifully done by Cal Bumper in Long Beach, CA.

Despite what the rocker covers say, under the stock-style Rootlieb hood is a Chevrolet. A pickup truck bellhousing and '88 Camaro clutch assembly was used between the 327 and the five-speed transmission. The small-block is topped by a Holley circle-track two-barrel wearing a Studebaker air cleaner. Take a look at the simple horn mount, and how many of you remember those Rajah spark plug wire ends?

1932 Ford Highboy Interior
Though not cavernous, the interior is plenty comfortable thanks to a custom-built seat and the cushy covers applied by Darrell Morgan. Holding the doors closed and aligned are stock latches and dovetails.
