Mark and Angie Sowell's '49 Ford convertible

Mark and Angie Sowell cruised into Texas from their Tulsa, Oklahoma home in their gorgeous Audi Red '49 Ford convertible. Under the owner built and painted body is a detailed chassis that rides on a Mustang II IFS, 9-inch Ford rear end, and is powered by an LS1/4L60E combo. Big Boyd wheels and a number of body mods help smooth out the panels and create a modern look for the vintage Ford.
