The reproduction windshield is chopped 2 inches and features stainless steel stanchions and hardware, and a chrome frame.

The MaS small-block Chevy pumps out 325 hp and is outfitted with an MSD ignition, a Holley carb, and an edelbrock intake, along with the Speedway Motors Tru-ram exhaust manifolds.

The aluminum Griffin radiator coupled with a Flex-a-lite electric fan handles cooling. The car ran right on the 180-degree thermostat, and cooling was never an issue.

Continuing the '40 Ford theme inside is a small-diameter '40-style steering wheel bolted on top of an ididit tilt steering column. a floor shift handles the Tci automotive Turbo 350 tranny.

The '40 Ford speaker grille is in position and chrome plated for a period look. it is up to you to install the sounds.

The chrome-plated front suspension features Curtis-style hairpin radius rods.

The '34 commercial headlights (with internal turn signals) share mounts with chromed tube shocks, and the front suspension is based on a chromed 4-inch dropped i-beam axle outfitted with Wilwood disc brakes in front.

Incorporated into the body are '50 Pontiac taillights-all you need to add are some blue dots and, viola, back to the '60s.

A new Ford 9-inch rearend with 3.50 posi gears and drum brakes rides in back, along with coilover shocks and a repo 15-gallon Deuce gas tank.

Fifteen-inch Wheel Vintiques steel wheels with baby Moon-style caps, along with trim rings, can be found at the corners. BFG tires from Coker received the nod for the wide whites measuring 165r15 in front and 255/70r15 in back.

The trunk is fully carpeted with 100 percent wool, and wiring is hidden behind an access panel with the battery. note the hydraulic trunk lift and drain tubes in the decklid channel.
