1927 Ford Roadster Engine
An Olds Rocket? Not quite. Ron added a set of Fauxsmobile valve covers to his 283 to make it look like the vintage Olds motor from 1949-50, and it fools nearly everyone who takes the quick glance at the engine. Bored 0.030 to 292 cubes, the Chevy is topped with a trio of Stromberg 97s and an Edelbrock manifold. Ron relied on Summit and Speedway Motors for many parts and pieces for his car, and he built the motor himself.

1927 Ford Roadster Hood
Rick Bacon, aka Arsonist, just had to pinstripe Ron's ride after Ron told him what the concept was going to be. Rick laid out a tribute to Von Dutch-a design that not only covers the top of the cowl but also runs down the length of the decklid.

1927 Ford Roadster Gauges
Jim Taliaferro from Happy Camper's Upholstery in Copperopolis, CA, stitched up the pleated white vinyl bench seat, adding a bit of orange piping for an accent. AAA Plating in Sacramento, CA, did all of the chrome plating on the T, and the stock '27 dash is filled with TPI-Tech gauges. For steering, Ron uses a Speedway Sprint wheel atop a LimeWorks column.
