A. R. Racing Performance did the machine work and assembled the 383 small-block for Eric's ride. An Eagle steel crank, GM pink rods, Speed Pro pistons (9.3:1), and a Comp Cams 'stick make up the internals. A pair of Edelbrock 1804 Thunder 500-cfm carbs mount to an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold, which feeds a pair of iron Dart Iron Eagle II heads (outfitted with 1.94/1.60 valves and 1.6:1 ratio rockers. Bolt-on goodies include an AFCO radiator, a SPAL electric fan, a Powermaster alternator, an Edelbrock water pump, and a Billet Specialties air cleaner. Ignition comes from a Pertronix system (with Taylor wires) and the exhaust exits the small-block through Speedway Motors headers, custom stainless steel tubing, and out a pair of Flowmaster stainless mufflers.

Just as nice inside as it is on the outside, Barth's Buick command center is the reworked dash, which now features a custom console running down the center of the vehicle that houses the Vintage Air AC controls, the adjustment pad for the Air Ride Technologies suspension bag set-up, and the Lokar shifter for the 700-R4 trans. Automotive Unlimited did the wiring, using a Ron Francis kit to wire up the TPI Tech gauges and the massive car audio system (consisting of an Eclipse AVN 5435 control unit, JL Audio amplifiers, and several sizes of high-end speakers), which also includes the pop-up GPS unit (which lets Eric know just how far he's strayed from his shop).
