1932 Ford Three Window Engine
|
There were only a few requirements Bruce wanted for his coupe, and having something different for an engine was one of them. He got it with a '57 371-inch Olds J2 V-8, rebuilt and assembled by Frank Brown. Jahns pistons were used in the build, as was a Sig Erson cam, a factory J2 manifold and a trio of Rochester carbs restored by Buzzard Carburetor Rebuilding in Florida. A Rotofaze dual-point distributor sends the spark through cloth-covered wires and the exhaust exits through custom headers fab'd by Jamie Johnson. Other goodies include a Powermaster PowerGEN alternator and a radiator from Walker. The whole she-bang bolts to a TH350 trans via a Bendsten's Transmissions adapter and a Gennie Shifter was modified to look like it works with a '39 top-shift box. View Related Article
