The steering wheel came from a '37 Chevrolet, while the gauge (which was originally a 3,000-rpm tach for marine applications) was reworked to read to 6,000 rpm when it was converted to electronic innards. Kirk learned how to acid-etch brass, and designed and made his own gauge insert. (The mini inserts to each side of the gauge are for the ignition and headlight switches). View Related Article
