When John bought the car it was a lakester—without the trunk section and with a flat nose. Gene Bostwick does metalwork for John and added the ’23 Ford turtledeck, with its trunklid and bottom apron filled with louvers. The wheels are 17-inch Chrysler artillery wheels, to which John added ’34 Ford caps. View Related Article
