Best Ford in a Ford honors presented by Ford Racing Performance went to this very clean 64 T-bird brought out by Rick Wedgeworth of Tennessee. Another award that has found a home at Shades is the Ford Racing Performance/STREET RODDER Best Ford in a Ford. This year at Shades it went to Rick Wedgeworth of Johnson City, Tennessee, for his 64 Thunderbird that sports an 03 Ford 4.6L SVT 32-valve supercharged V-8.
The stock ’Bird frame is suspended via RideTech airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, and Billet Specialties wheels. The ’Bird is painted in black over stock sheetmetal while the black interior is primarily stock but does have a Billet Specialties steering wheel and plenty of cool air via the Vintage Air A/C.
