Oddly enough, this 1964 427 side-oiler (bored 0.030 over and set up at 11:1 compression) runs and sounds even better than it looks! The Mickey Thompson power ram intake with a pair of 1965 Hemi cross ram carbs operate via N.O.S. EELCO linkage. A solid-mount Nicson drag boat engine mount doubles as a timing cover, and other goodies include a FoMoCo dual-point distributor, Moon valve covers, and a whole lotta chrome from Advanced Plating. And one more thing: the radiator isn’t painted—it’s chromed, and in the photo it’s reflecting Darryl Hollenbeck’s paintwork on the underside of the hood tops, which copies the exterior layout.
