Since leather comes via an animal hide, it's figured at 55 sq-ft per hide while the matching vinyl or fabric is sold as either stock roll or cut yardage, all calculated by the linear foot. Wise Guys also has a 3-year or 36,000-mile warranty on their seating.
However, here's where it really becomes fun. The list of standard as well as optional features is impressive. The bench seat for the '28-34 Ford coupe, roadster, and sedan includes a number of appointments. The seatback tilts forward or reclines back. The seat bottom lifts easily for access to a map pocket or additional storage and has a pair of 12-volt receptacles located toward the front and a remote cable for the recline mechanism.
Options on this seat include a center foldout armrest, a manual or power slide adjuster, a power or mechanical lumbar, or a seat heater. The seat heater comes in one of two packages and can be ordered for the base or a base-and-back heat combination. Can you say comfy?
The bench seat for the '35-49 Ford coupe or sedan includes an impressive list of appointments, as well. There's an individual split-back with two armrests, while the back tilts forward or reclines back. Again, there are two 12-volt receptacles, as well as the remote cable recline mechanism.
On the option list is a manual or a six-way power slide unit, a power or mechanical lumbar, and, of course, the "gotta have" seat heater-for us open car drivers. There is even a hot/cold 12-volt drink console-now there's something for every rodder!
Like we said earlier, a good seat-of-the-pants feel starts with a good seat.
