The council has decided to approach the membership in a new way. While we would like to see you at every meeting, we all understand that is not possible. We want to open up a new line of communication with each member. We want to help you reach out to SRMA. We have established a MENTORING program. Each committee member has about 20 members he or she is contacting. Our goal is multifaceted: We would like your input on issues. We would also like to be of help to your business. This committee has a wealth of knowledge to share and experiences, both good and bad. We want you to connect with the Select Committee on a one-to-one basis. We will be as much service to you as you want us to be. We will connect you with the SRMA in a personal way. We want you involved. When it comes time to nominate a business for an award or an individual for the Select Committee, you should feel comfortable with your contact on the Select Committee. Perhaps you have questions about business matters, computers, insurance, transportation, booth sizes at shows, etc. etc. etc. Maybe you just need to sound off! We will share your problems and concerns and relate our experiences. Perhaps we will express those concerns at the next council meeting. While we know we are just ordinary people, together we have more than a hundred years of experiences to share. We all travel the same roads to a NSRA or Goodguys show.
