Once again, the staff of Street Rodder will be present at the Detroit Autorama during the first weekend in March. Not only are we there to gather the latest on cars from the Midwest, but also to keep track of who's in the running for the coveted Don Ridler Memorial Award, given out each year to the outstanding vehicle in competition. In fact, we'll bring you the news of who won just as soon as it's announced.
Make sure to look for updates throughout the event, (March 3-5) right here on www.streetrodderweb.com, as we will bring you the Great Eight finalists for the Ridler, as well as many other interesting cars and stories from the Detroit Autorama. Heck, we will probably throw in several web features of nifty cars that you won't see in Street Rodder Magazine--it makes those guys jealous.
Last and certainly not least, be on the lookout for the winner of the Second Annual Driven Award, presented by Street Rodder and Lokar Performance Products. This award is given to the car in the show that is everything that a street rod should be: driven!
If you can't make it to the show to harass us in person, then at least watch online and, if so inclined, drop us an e-mail or two during the show. We will get back to you and give you some additional info as to what's happening.
