So Bad Yet So GoodThe BadMan, a new series of inline induction systems from Triple-D Induction, is now available for the small-block Chevy. With interchangeable venturi sleeves, airflow ratings are available from around 500 to more than 1,000 cfm. This unique, all-new Demon Inline four-barrel carburetor combined with a Triple-D Aero-ram intake manifold provides even and superior fuel distribution. This allows larger camshafts to operate at low engine speeds with low vacuum and improves low-speed idle, part-throttle drivability, and fuel consumption. The BadMan has no gaskets to leak under float level and has only three adjustments: two idle-mixture screws and one idle-speed screw. Designed with simple carburetor tuning and maintenance in mind, the BadMan is available in two finishes: as-cast or silver powdercoat (as shown). Models to suit big-block Chevy and LS1 are under development.

Old Way, New IdeaAeromotive-a manufacturer of EFI and carbureted electric fuel pumps, pressure regulators, and fuel systems-has applied its technology to a more traditional application with the introduction of its small-block Chevrolet mechanical fuel pump (PN 11206).
Designed for gasoline applications up to 550 hp, this six-valve pump features an innovative single lock-bolt design that allows the -10AN inlet port to rotate 285 degrees independently of the outlet port for infinite adjustability. The -8AN outlet port may be clocked in 60-degree increments for additional plumbing convenience.
To provide durability and eliminate failures common with conventional cast pumps, the Aeromotive pump body is CNC-machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum alloy; and the high-alloy steel, CNC-machined lever arm is scalloped for a high strength-to-weight ratio. All internal components are engineered and CNC-machined from materials developed for severe-duty applications.
The pump is capable of 12-psi line pressure, and requires use of one of Aeromotive's carbureted regulators. For marine applications, the pump features a 1/4-inch NPT vent.
