Sometimes while on the road, we're lucky enough to make a quick side trip. Over the course of the last four years, I've tried to make it by the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field whenever I'm at the Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals but haven't been able to squeeze in a trip. This year, however, I scheduled my flight early enough on Thursday to swing by the museum to check out their amazing collection of both vintage and contemporary aircraft. This is a must-see for aviation enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest, and you never know what you're gonna see; it just so happened that a pair of F/A 18s were taking off just as I arrived. The sound is indescribable as the Navy's latest and greatest blasted off into the wild blue yonder. If your vacation plans ever land you in the Seattle area, be sure to plan a day at the Museum of Flight-you won't be disappointed!
