It's almost time for American Speed's Second Annual Detroit Open House, when the manufacturer of the all-steel Speed33 convertible swings open its doors for everyone to have a look behind the scenes.
This year's event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 16th, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Speed Company's headquarters, located at 45355 Helm Street in Plymouth, Michigan.
The day will consist of an open viewing of the company's complete facilities, including its build shop, which is located right up the street. Naturally, everybody is encouraged to drive their car and fill the parking lot with rods, just like last year.
There will be coffee in the morning, with hot dogs, chips, and drinks flowing at midday so nobody goes home hungry. If you're looking for a place to cruise to on that Saturday, this is it.
American Speed Company manufactures the Speed33 steel convertible, the only '33 roadster with a foldaway top and power windows.
