Performance Transmissions
GM Performance Parts (GMPP) now has a Supermatic line of high-performance automatic transmissions (4L85-E, PN 9154550) available at a MSRP of $4,238.
The Supermatic 4L85-E heavy-duty, high-performance transmission is based on the GM Hydra-Matic 4L80, and was designed specifically for GMPP's powerful big-block family of engines.
Supermatic 4L85-E is assembled with all-new parts, several upgraded internal components and a revised valve body. It is supplied with a production torque converter (approximately 1,800- to 2,000-rpm stall speed), and requires the GMPP transmission controller (PN 12497316 sold separately). When the transmission is used with a late-model LS engine, a special transmission adapter must be used (PN 19154766).
The Supermatic 4L85-E is rated to 720 horsepower (537 kW) and 685 lb-ft of torque (929 Nm). All GM Performance Parts components carry a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.

It's Getting Sticky

Exhausting Connection
Deeds Engineering has taken their V-brand kits (2 1/2-inch, 3-inch, and 3 1/2-inch exhaust sizes) to the next level by developing a double seal method. How it works: This kit uses two weld on flanges and one clamp to create a gasket-less exhaust union with a clean, uncluttered look. One flange is welded to each end of the tubes you wish to join together. The tapered geometry of the flanges allows the corresponding clamp to apply even pressure pushing the flanges together to produce a solid seal that can be removed and reused without distortion.

These new pedal assemblies are the most compact firewall-mounted pedal assemblies available. Turn Signals
Juliano's latest addition are signal lights that can be added to all kinds of early headlights. They're actually made to be an exact-fit for stock Ford '35-36 headlights, but they work on other headlights, too. The lens is white glass for a vintage look, and when you put the power to them, the bright LED's inside actually light up amber.
