Tons Of Torque
I'm a long time reader and fan of Street Rodder. I especially enjoyed the neat freak from Missouri. I've always felt bad that my `47 Ford has been sitting, being worked on for the past 7 years, until I saw Roy's garage and his 25 years worth of projects. I'll stop feeling sorry for myself. My `47 started out to be a smooth custom but those dreams and plans evaporated along with my 401K. If I'm lucky, it'll be a rat rod. I installed a 472 stump puller Caddy and chopped it 4 inches. I love the old four-door suicide door Fords. I kept the dropped axle but went with four-wheel discs and air, steering and brakes. Thanks for showing rides with something other than a small-block Chevy. Your coverage shows rodders are starting to use the older engines, which puts a smile on my face.

Jerry, keep smiling `cause you are really gonna enjoy all that torque. Often times rodders talk about horsepower when they should be more excited about torque. It's torque that gives all of us the seat of the pants ride we never forget!
